I started blogging a little over 4 years ago. Initially, I had no desire to use my website to make money. It was solely for the purpose of sharing my experiences as a wife, mother, teacher and pastor. About 2 years into it, I decided create a store, with a few inexpensive physical products, that I, myself, liked and used, on a daily basis. Those items, included, coffee mugs, cell phone accessories, notebooks, etc. There weren't any items in my store over $10. I wanted everything to be reasonably priced and affordable. Well..even though those items sold well, I lost money!  It was costing me more to ship the items, than the items, themselves, cost. I was paying $12 to ship a mug the customer paid $5.99 for. So in December of 2018, I decided to discontinue all of the physical products and focus solely on the creation and sell of digital products. I also decided to focus my blog toward a different audience, mainly, other bloggers, content creators, and entrepreneurs. It was one of the best decisions, I've ever made. In my first month of launching, a revamped blog, and a digital products store, I made over $16,000!  And the good news is, you can too!

If you don’t have an email list for your on-line or brick and mortar business, you should really begin working to build one. When I first decided to start blogging in 2014, it was just as an outlet for my thoughts, initially. Then, later, it became information based. I truly didn’t even think about growing my email list, or the benefits of it. I’m so grateful, for the people that subscribed anyway, because my site was of benefit to them in some way. However, as I’ve grown, and my content has changed and my audience’s avatar has changed, growing my email list, has become one of the main goals of my business model.
