Solar Eclipse of August 21,2017 And Revelation 12 Sign -What They Mean To Us Prophetically

​During the last three hours of Jesus' death, on the Cross of Calvary, darkness covered the whole land. This would have been from noon until 3 p.m. The sun was eclipsed, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy, that He would be crucified between two evenings. This was the custom in killing a sacrificial lamb, at Passover, according to Exodus 12:6 

Jesus was our Passover lamb, and He was slain, in accordance to  the Law. He was crucified on the 14th day of  Nisan which is Passover, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread began, and He was resurrected on the Feast of Firstfruits, fulfilling, all three of these Feasts, Himself.

Matthew 24:45, Luke 23:44-45, and Mark 15:33 all read "Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour."

Solar eclipses are signs or harbingers, to the Gentiles. A harbinger, being a thing (or person) that announces or signals the approach of another. It is a forewarning, and a heralding. Lunar eclipses are harbingers to the Jews. 

Jesus, said this, in Luke 21 7:25-36 concerning, what would be going on in the world, before He returns, "There will be signs, in the sun, moon and stars. We've certainly seen them. From April 2014 to September 2015, we witnessed, four consecutive blood moons, which all occurred on Feast Days. There were also six full moon, in between, the blood moons.

April 15, 2014 -Passover
October 8, 2014- Feast of Tabernacles
April 4, 2015-Passover
September 28, 2015-Feast of Tabernacles 
 
These preceded, the ushering in, of the Year of Jubilee 5776. It was actually a Double Jubilee, because it was the 70th Jubilee, since the days of Joshua, when he, Caleb, and the children of  Israel, entered Canaan. 

And now here we are, in the year of 5777- 5 symbolizing His grace, and 777 symbolizing triple completion. Triple fulfillment. Wow!  

This is not astrology. This is astronomy. The same watchfulness of the heavens, that led the Magi to Jesus, at His birth. They were the descendants of Seth, the righteous third son of Adam and the guardians of an old prophecy, that a star of unparalleled brightness, would appear and herald the birth of God in human form. 

They had a prophecy, a timetable, and a sign to watch for. And when they saw His star in the Heavens they struck out to find Him.

Isn't it funny, that Kings from the East, came asking for Him, and King Herod and his court, along with most of the people, in Bethlehem, couldn't have cared less where He was, and weren't even looking for Him?

Interestingly, enough, there is said to be, an account of this, written by the Magi, themselves. It is purported to have been recently translated, into English, and the manuscript is said to be housed, at the Vatican library. (As are many other ancient texts, that they keep hush-hush about, and under lock and key.) Nevertheless, we have the account ourselves, in the inerrant, infallible, Word of God, and that's more than, sufficient for me. 

Not much has changed. Most of us aren't looking for Him, and could care less about His "coming". In fact, they cared more about those solar eclipse glasses, they needed for their eyes, than they do, about their own souls. Yep. I said it. Because, I see it. And you see it, too.

They couldn't see the revelation of a spiritual mystery in it. And there are all kinds of blogs, and magazine articles, that say those of us, who feel the way we do, about it, and are saying what we're saying, have a few screws loose. But, there were those in Jesus' time, that said he did works by the spirit of Beelzebub, too. You know, the prince of demons, the lord of the flies? 

Listen. Jesus gave us a step-by-step, synopsis, of what would occur, before His second coming. He told us what to watch for. He gave us prophecies and warnings. He told us to stay dressed and ready with our lamps lit. He also said, if a servant says that, "his master delays his coming, that the master shall come on a day, he does not expect, an in an hour, he is not aware of." 

When will He come? I do not know. Jesus does not for certain either. Only the Father knows. However, we do know the times and the season. We know what precedes it, and we know to watch for. Wouldn't you agree? Take a look at some of the spiritual and scientific facts, associated with Solar Eclipse 5777.

The first major city to witness the eclipse was Oregon's state capital, Salem. Salem is of course the shortened version of Jerusalem, which is the most prophetically significant city in the entire Bible. Jerusalem was originally called "Salem" in the days of Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18) who was a foreshadowing of Christ or possibly even a Christophany. I,  believe both apply. The Old Testament is "Christ-concealed" and the New Testament is "Christ-revealed. However, I get joy at the revelation of the latter. The scriptures show us the Christophany, in Melchizedek's description, and also, because he brought out bread and wine to Abraham, which was the first communion supper.  The second being when Jesus, in His personage, partook of it, with His disciples, and the third fulfillment, will be, when He does it with us, at the wedding supper, in our Father's kingdom. 

The eclipse occurs exactly 33 days before the Revelation 12 Sign, beginning in the 33rd state, which is Oregon, and ending in South Carolina, at the 33rd parallel.  An eclipse like this hasn't occurred in 99 years. The last one was June 8, 1918, right before World War I ended.. That would be 3 x 33 years.  When you've finished reading this post, please read Ezekiel 33.

The eclipse crosses exactly 12 states and it can be, and has been, verified.  An eclipse across 12 states, just one month before the Revelation 12 sign that features a woman with a crown of 12 stars. Rev 12 1 "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered."
 
We know prophetically, that the woman (constellation of Virgo-the Virgin) symbolizes Israel, and the crown of 12 stars, symbolizes the 12 tribes of Israel. We know that child she's carrying is Christ. (constellation of Leo- the Lion-symbolizing the Lion from the Tribe of Judah)
 
And yes, I understand, that because the Bible is the "Living" Word, there are, almost always, multiple aspects, to what a scripture is symbolizing. We know, that this verse, also embodies, Old and New Testament, fulfillment. From the virgin symbolizing Jesus', earthly mother Mary, and the twelve stars being symbolic of the first apostles. We must bear in mind, when we read the Revelation, that John was shown three classes of things. He was shown:
 
"Things that were"-those that had already happened..
"Things that are"-things that were happening then.. and 
"Things to come"-those thing that would occur in the future..
 
On the day of the eclipse, at the exact time of 7:16 p.m. (17:16 UT), the SUN set in Israel, marking the beginning of the new month of ELUL. Elul means HARVEST.
 
Elul is a time of repentance in preparation, for the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur. During Elul, the shofar is blown in the morning. The blasts are meant to awaken one's spirit and stir one's soul. It is the time to forgive, and ask for forgiveness. It is a time to search one's heart and draw close to God, in preparation for the coming Day of Judgment. 
 
 
Rosh Hashanah, is translated "new year or head of the year" and is also called Feast of Trumpets.  The shofar is blown at this time, as well. It is blown in a series of short and long blasts, in a particular sequence. It is also referred to as the Day of Judgment, and is believed to be the day when " the books are opened." These would be the Books of  Life, The Book of Works and Deeds, and The Book of Destinies. Many believe, that at the sounding of these trumpets, that the Lord will rapture the church. This year Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown Sept. 20, and ends Sept. 22, at sundown, and ushers us into Hebraic year 5778/2018.
 
This occurs right before the Revelation 12 sign appears, on Sept. 23. Is this a coincidence?

​Yom Kippur is translated as the Day of Atonement. It begins at sundown Sept. 29 and ends at sundown Sept. 30. It is regarded as the "Sabbath of Sabbaths.  It also involves the Book of Life in conjunction, with the Feast of Trumpets, and deals with our deeds, rewards, and fates. Is it a coincidence that on the day of the eclipse, the sun set in Israel on the day that heralds repentance and is followed by the feast of judgement?
                                             
Here are a few facts in regards to marks and signs:

The sun is 400 times, farther from the earth than the moon.The sun is 400 times larger, than the moon, and it is 5778 degrees Kelvin.

The Hebrew character for "SIGN or MARK" is the Tav. Amazingly the numerical value of Tav is 400. And in keeping, with the wisdom and totality of God's wisdom, "X" is the symbol for the Hebrew character Tav, which means."SIGN or MARK.  So what am I getting at, you ask?

The eclipse traveled  from the top left, of the United States, on a path across the 3 major fault lines. The Cascadia, the Yellowstone, and  the New Madrid. If you look it up on Google, you will see the Fema Earthquake model pics. 

On April 8, 2024, another total solar eclipse will span the United States again, but this time crossing from the Southwest to the Northeast. So what you will have, are two 2 solar eclipses, 7 years apart, that  virtually form an "X" in the US. Why, because the US is the "mystery Babylon'', of Revelation.
 
When Jesus was crucified on Calvary, there was an earthquake that occurred, as well. It split open the graves, and the dead came out of them, and begin to walk down the streets of Jerusalem. Death and the grave, were no longer able to hold them, because the penalty for sin, which was death, had just been paid in full, on the cross. Jesus also prophesied in Luke 
Luke 21:11 

"There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven."

Are all these of these things, coincidences? Are they chance happenings. I would say "no." However, each one of us must come to our own conclusion. I'm just blowing the shofar, and sounding the alarm. It is up to each individual whether he will hear and heed. I would encourage you to hear, though. Search your soul, come to repentance, forgive, and ask for forgiveness, but most importantly make Jesus your Lord, and Savior, if you have not already done so. It's getting late in the evening, friends, and the sun is setting fast. Don't let darkness catch you with your work undone, and no oil for your lamps.


Matthew 24:43-44 says
"And know this, that if the master of the house had known in what time of night the thief comes, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.''

1 Thessalonians 5:3, says, "While people are saying, “peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."
 
If you don't know Jesus, as your personal Savior, I suggest you come to know Him. Please don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today. He gave His life, as a payment and a ransom for ours. He stood in our place,  and died a sinner's death, so that we might have a right to eternal life. He did for us, what we couldn't do for ourselves, and that is live a sinless life. All you have to do is accept what He did for us, on Calvary. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that God has raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth, that you profess your faith, and are saved. Romans 10:9-10

It is not God's will, that any man should perish, but that all come unto Him, and be saved. 

Be encouraged today. God loves you, and so do I.

Update:
Shortly after this post was published, I saw on news reports, that 23 earthquakes hit Idaho, one registered 5.3 on the Richter scale. Currently, at this moment, I'm watching the news and Hurricane Irma is barreling toward the U.S., at 185 mph. It is listed as a category 5 at the moment, and is said to be the second most powerful storm, ever. The model of it, is being described, as beastly. Hmmm. And there is a second storm right behind it, named Jose, and following Jose, is a third storm name Kaita. There are also several huge wildfires, burning in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Stay vigilant. Stay alert. Pray.

Update 2: As of today, Hurricane Irma is said, to be THE STRONGEST STORM EVER RECORDED. It is so big and so powerful, that is being picked up by seismometers, which are used to meter earthquakes. My opinion is that "weather engineering," is in full affect. God is omnipotent and knows what the "wicked" are going to do, even before they do it. That's why He told us in His word, so we wouldn't be ignorant of it either.  (You can see theoretical physicist Michio Kaku explain this on the video gallery section of this site.) And please keep in mind he's on giving you the publicly-palatable explanation. Do your own research, as I have for years. 
Irma-means "Goddess of War." Take from that what you will.

Update 3: 9/7/17 An 8.1 magnitude earthquake, struck off the coast, struck off the coast of southern Mexico, near the border of Guatemala, and they are forecasting tsunamis, to soon follow.

Update 4: 9/19/17:  As a category 5, Hurricane Maria slams into Puerto Rico and is currently barreling toward the Virgin Islands. A 7.1 magnitude struck also struck Mexico City today, This is the 2nd one in just two weeks. In California, there was an earthquake, that registered 3.1 on the Richter scale.
