Hi again, you guys! I pray that you are well, today. I truly wish above all things that you would prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. I wanted to follow up with you, and expound and give additional clarity, to the prophetic word and declaration that was given in the previous post (Ayin Zayin 2017/5777) regarding this divinely appointed time, for the Body of Christ. I left off with the 12 manifestions of the Holy Spirit, that we should expect, in this Year of the Crown and the Sword. Today, I'd like to cover SUPERNATURAL FAITH. The type of faith that the Apostles had when they began to move in power in the book of Acts. The type of faith that Christ had, in Father, that enabled Him, to despise the shame of the coss and endure it. The type of faith that we have not seen in the earth, for a while now. The type of faith, that people like D.L Moody, Smith Wigglesworth, and Kenneth Hagin walked in. The type of faith that brings about the manifestation of miracles, healing, signs, wonders and causes mountains to move! The type of faith that birthed the New Testament church! I wish you guys could see me as I type this. I'm about to shout in here, all by myself! My fingers can't type fast enough to keep up with what my heart and spirit feel! I wonder if this laptop has a voice-to-text feature? I really need to find out, because that's exactly what I need, right now. But, back to our subject, before I turn this post into a praise party of one. So, what about supernatural faith and why are we calling it that, you ask?
The Bible says that the just shall live by faith, and that we are saved by grace through faith. It says, that without faith, it impossible to please God and that we walk by faith and not by sight. So, everything about this Christian journey, and our relationship with Father, hinges on our faith, or what we believe. Jesus told Peter, that He'd prayed that Peter's faith not fail him, because He knew Satan wanted to sift him like wheat, and that he would deny Him 3 times, before sunrise . He told Peter that after he repented, that He would come back to the fold and strengthen his brothers. Jesus knew Peter would become ensnared in the enemy's trap, but He had enough faith, that His intercessory prayer for Peter, would be heard and answered, by Father. And it was! Jesus never doubted that it would be. So many times we pray and we look for an answer or manifestation to our prayers, and when they don't come, in the ways we expect them to, or in the time frame we think they should, we began to doubt that God will answer us, and if He's even heard us. Sometimes we doubt ourselves and think maybe we didn't ask for it correctly, or maybe there's something that we've done, that He hasn't forgiven us for. All kinds of things come to our minds, to work and war against our faith. Often these are spiritual attacks against our mind to make us doubt, what God has promised us, in His word, or spoken to us by His spirit. Why? Because, the enemy knows that you don't get what you PRAY FOR, you get what you BELIEVE! It is why we sometimes have to say, what the father of the boy, who was possessed by a demonic spirit, said to Jesus, "Lord I do believe, but help my unbelief." There are 4 instances in which Jesus spoke about faith, that always leap off the pages of the Bible at me; a) The first is in Mark 9 vs 23 where he is talking to the father of the demon possessed boy, I just mentioned. The demonic spirit had taken the boy's speech and it would often throw him into fire or water to try and kill him. He asked Jesus to have compassion on them and to help them, if he could. Jesus replied "If I can?" Like what do you mean, if I can? All things are possible to those who believe! Everything is possible to them who believe. In this same passage Jesus rebuked the disciples, after they couldn't cast the demon out of the boy. He called them a faithless and unbelieving generation, and asked them how long would he have to suffer with them. My God! b) is when a storms rises up over the sea of Galilee, in Matthew 8:25-26 and the disciples wake Jesus up, screaming "Lord please save us, we're going to drown!" And Jesus replied to them, "Oh ye, of little faith!" Why are you so afraid? You have such little faith!" c) The third is in Luke 7 when Jesus told a crowd that followed Him, "In all of Israel, He had not found such great faith!" The Bible says that he marvelled at the centurion's faith, whose servant, was sick and about to die. The centurion first sent some elders to Jesus, to ask Him to come to His house, and heal his servant. As Jesus was on the way to his house, the centurion then sent some friends to go tell him, he wasn't worthy of Jesus, to come under his roof. He said he didn't even feel worthy to come meet Jesus, himself. But he believed that if Jesus would just send the word, his servant would be healed. He said, he understood authority, because he was a man in authority, and people did what he said. He said, he knew Jesus was also a man in authority, because after all, the winds and the sea obeyed Him. So, all Jesus had to do, in the man's mind, was just speak a word and that would be enough! Then the men who had been sent, returned to the centurion's house, and found the servant healed. Jesus was astonished at his faith. A Gentile man, had more faith than all the Jews in Israel! Sometimes, we have to have faith enough for others, until they come to a place, where they're able to believe and trust God for themselves. I know this from experience. I've stood in the stead and made up a hedge for many people, who just weren't ready or couldn't believe God, until what they needed, manifested. This is why intercessors are so invaluable to the kingdom. d) And lastly, in Mark 5:34, He told the woman with the issue of blood, "that her faith had made her well." She believed that if she could just come in contact with Him, she would be healed. And she was. Now, there is the measure of faith that God gives to all of us, or the faith of a mustard seed. Then, there is the gift of faith. One of the nine major power gifts. These gifts are miraculous, divine gifts, given by the Holy Spirit, Himself. He gives these gifts at anytime, to any believer, He wants to have them. His will is, for every believer, to have them all. The Bible says, He will give them to whoever desires them, and are found fit and able to handle them. The gift of faith was the first gift that Holy Spirit gave me after I received salvation. I received it, at a very early age, around 9 or 10 years old. I know now, looking back, in hindsight, after all these years, that I couldn't have come this far without it, and Father knew that! He knew all of the valleys I would find myself in, and all of the storms that would be sent my way, to try to take me off course, make me think about quitting or turning back. He knew all the things that the adversary would hurl at me, to try to make me waiver, about what I was trusting God for. I thank Him for it! For as long as I can remember, even when I was in a backslidden mode, in my late teens and early 20s, I trusted God, no matter the situation. I knew that it was not based on my ability to do anything, but based on His ability to do it in me, for me, and through me. I trusted Him to bring me out of the muck. I not only believed that he could-but I believed He WOULD! And He has. He's never failed me! And lastly, there is the spirit of faith. I believe that in this season, His children shall operate and move in the spirit of faith! The Apostle Paul said in 2 Cor 4:13 "But having the same spirit of faith according to what it is written, I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE" we also believe, therefore we also speak." Meaning that, we are going to have to declare what the Word says about us, and who He is. We are going to have to speak what the Spirit is bearing witness with us, about. In this season, we are going to really learn how to hear God and move by faith. We are going to have to declare those things that (seem) to be not (in the natural), as though they were/are. When He says it---> We see it!----> We begin to move in that, without hesitation or procrastination!----> We move with confidence, assurance, and in total faith! For the promises of God are yes and amen, and we know the plans He has for us, plans of good and not evil, plans to prosper us and bring us to an expected end. In this season God will began to supernaturally increase our faith. He will give us the ability to trust and believe beyond what we thought we were capable of. We serve a supernatural God, we are supernatural beings, and the Bible is a supernatural book. We should live the supernatural--NATURALLY! It's who we are. The definition of supernatural as a descriptive word is: Being above or beyond what is natural. Unexplainable by natural law or phenemenon. Pertaining to, characteristic of, or attributed to, God. Supernatural as a noun: Direct influence or action of God on earthly affairs. I'm only defining the meaning of supernatural, because it is a word, that I will use over and over again, in my upcoming posts. And also, because I was recently shocked by how many believers, have no clear concept of what it means. I know it sounds hard to believe, or at least, it was for me. And truly, I don't mean that, in any way, to sound judgemental or negative, at all. But, I was just so unaware that so many of our Father's children, didn't trust in His ability to STILL be able to raise the dead, heal the sick, make storms cease, and bring sight to the blind. But in this year of supernatural victory and exploits, He's going to show us that He's still God, and His name still carries all power and authority. His blood still speaks, and He's still performing miracles, everyday. He's still opening doors that no man can shut, and still shutting doors that no man can open. He's still making a way in the wilderness and water to flow in desert places. He's still making crooked paths straight. In this season, He'll give you the faith to begin again, and to finish this time. All those things that you tried to do once before, and gave up on, and let fall by the wayside, try it again. Your book, your business, your marriage, your career and educational goals, trying to mend friendships and family relationships, try it again. This is the year of the finisher's anointing. All those things, that you thought, you didn't have the faith, the strength, the know-how or the resources to do, try them again. All those prophetic words that have been spoken over your life in recent months and years, that you gave up on coming to pass, believe again. Let faith arise in you! When faith arises, God will endow you with the strength to overcome weariness, and discouragement. He will give you a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. In this year of the Crown and the Sword, you have to see yourself as a victor, because Father has already given you the victory! He is going to engulf and endow you with the spirit of faith and we will began to cast down every stubborn obstacle, tear down every argument, and imagination that tries to exalt itself, against the knowledge of God. We will take every thought captive, to make it obey Christ! (2 Cor 10:5)This year your faith shall grow up! It will become mature and you will begin to live the supernatural-naturally! Remember, the just shall live by faith, and faith is, saying it and believing it, until you see it!! Until next time, God loves you and so do I. -Tasha
