DidI I Wake Up In An Alternate Universe?

So yesterday, I thought I had been propelled into an alternate universe, somewhere months in the future. By future, I mean the end of October. 

I drove out of my neighborhood, and got to the main street, and saw a sign, stuck in the ground on the side of the road. It read, "Join us at BLAH-BLAH-BLAH Elementary school, for The Annual Halloween  Trunk or Treat".

I'm familiar with this sign, it's for a school right down the road from my house. 

The sign was taken down shortly after Halloween last year. It had NOT been there before yesterday. So, I was like "who put this sign back up? It's March!"

I didn't think much about it anymore, after that. UNTIL, last night. 

When I finally crawled into bed about 3 a.m, and turned the TV on, and TWITCHES was on. 

Really? I actually sat there watching it, like IS. IT. OCTOBER?  Is this real life? Or not. 

Tia and Tamara, and that Trunk or Treat sign, had me all confused and discombobulated. I decided to just go to sleep and figure out the time and the season, later. I couldn't make this stuff up, if  I tried. What month is it, where you are?
